The day itself

Just beauty that felt like it belonged to the place.
The ceremony was everything it should be: honest and unhurried. Somewhere between 50 and 80 people gathered to witness two people who were genuinely ready for this moment. There was no performance in it. Just truth.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the White Terrace, one of Grand Palladium's most impressive outdoor reception spaces, for dinner under the open sky. The White Terrace has its own distinct energy: open, elegant, and surrounded by the warmth of the tropical night. It's a space that photographs beautifully, with the deep greens of the surroundings contrasting against the clean lines of the setup and the glow of the evening light. I have photographed a lot of these moments. Most are beautiful. But what Abbi did stopped the entire room. Halfway through the song, she started singing along with her dad, not humming, not mouthing the words, actually singing to him, just the two of them, in front of everyone. It was completely unplanned, completely hers, and it destroyed the room in the best possible way. Guests who had been laughing seconds before were quietly wiping their eyes. Gabe, watching from the side, couldn't hold it together either. And I was in exactly the right place when it did.
